Winter & Summer Precipitation

Previous year's winter precipitation sets the stage for successful or unsuccessful breeding for many species. These maps will guide you to the areas that are the most favorable to produce large populations of wildlife.  One example, the population of many quail species are directly correlated with the previous year's winter precipitation.
Similarly, summer rains will directly impact the amount of fresh vegetation there is to eat in the subsequent months - something that affects all animals.
A typical use for these maps is to plan hunting trips.  However, the maps usefulness for other areas involving wild animals is unlimited.
