New Mexico Rain Maps
QUAIL AND GENERAL HUNTING

These maps will guide you to the areas that are the most favorable to produce large populations of wildlife - in particular small game.
For instance, the size of Quail populations in generally dry regions are directly correlated with the previous year's winter precipitation.  A lot of rain means a lot of quail.
Summer rains will directly impact the amount of fresh vegetation there is to eat, and water to drink throughout the fall/winter.
Look for areas in New Mexico that received as much rain as possible in the maps.

In addition to the rain data, the maps also include:
 Detailed Roads | National Forests & Parks | GPS-Grid | 10-mile Distance Grid | Water Bodies & Rivers | Populated Places
